One domain is identified during the installation process and additional domains can be added from the administration console.
When you create a new domain, the Create New Domain wizard guides you through the required steps. After a domain is created you can edit the domain's configuration from Configure>Domains in the Navigation pane.
For each domain, the following settings can be configured:
General Information.
Time zone. Set the default time zone for the domain. If a time zone is configured in a COS or for an account, the domain time zone setting is ignored.
Public service host name. Enter the host name of the REST URL. This is the URL that is used when sharing email folders, Briefcase folders, Task lists, Address Books, and Calendars. See the Administrator Guide, Managing ZCS Configurations chapter.

Inbound SMTP host name. If your MX records point to a spam-relay or any other external non-Zimbra server, enter the name of the server here. Check Allow administrators of this domain to check MX records from Admin Console if the domain administrator can configure this for the domain.
Description. Text field to write a brief description of the domain. This displays in the Domain list in the Content pane.
Domain status. The domain status is active in the normal state. You might want to change this status if you are not ready to use the domain after you set it up.
Default Class of Service (COS) for the domain. If you do not enter a COS, the default COS is used. The COS entered here is automatically assigned to accounts created on the domain if no other COS is entered.
GAL. Shows the GAL setting for the domain. This can be Internal LDAP server, External LDAP server or Both. The number of results returned for a GAL search can be configured. If this field is blank, no maximum is configured.
Authentication. Shows the configured authentication setting for the domain, Internal, External LDAP, or External Active Directory. You can configure the admin console redirect URLs for SSO login and logout, and you can configure the single sign on web client redirect URL settings, and specify URLs that are allowed.
Virtual Hosts. Configure virtual hosts that are used to establish a default domain for user login.
Advanced. Enter the company name that is displayed in the prompt on the Authentication Required dialog used to log into Briefcase folders shared with external guests, add regular expression rules for Account Email Validation, and set domain quotas.
Free/Busy Interop Set up free/busy scheduling across a mix of Zimbra servers and third party email servers in the domain. See Making Free/Busy View Available.
Zimlets. Zimlets that are available on the domain are listed. You can manage which Zimlets are enabled and are mandatory.

Certificate. SSL Certificates can be created for individual domains and the information displays in the Certificate tab.The certificates a re added to the Certificates tab and you use the CLI to deploy them. See Installing SSL Certificate for a Domain.
Account Limits on the domain. You can set the maximum number of accounts that can be provisioned on the domain and maximum accounts per COS.
Mailbox Quota lists the accounts on the domain and the quota used.
ACL The ACL (Access Control List) tab is associated with delegated administration rights granted on the selected target. The ACL tab displays a list of Access Control Entries (ACE) granted on that current target. You can add, edit or delete an ACE from this tab.
S/MIME. (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) Set up external S/MIME LDAP servers. Multiple servers can be set up. See Configuring S/MIME Settings.
