Creating Cross Mailbox Search Notification Messages

The default notification message includes the search task ID and status on the subject line and the number of messages that were found and the search query that was used in the text.  

You can create your own message adding descriptive text and using the following placeholders which are replaced with values from the search results.

% status%

The status of either completed with errors or completed successfully is returned.

% numMsgs%

The number of messages that were copied to the folder are displayed in the message.

 

% taskID%

The cross mailbox search is assigned a numeric Task ID. This task ID number also displays in the Search Mailbox Content pane.

 

% query%

The complete search query you entered for this search is displayed. Cross mailbox search queries cannot be saved, so adding them to the email notification has two values. This shows the recipients what criteria was used to get the search results and it gives you a copy of the query to use again.

 

% mailboxes%

The account addresses you entered to be searched are listed.  If you selected to search all accounts.  This shows as All.

 

% SearchArchives%

Yes is returned if you selected to search archive mailboxes. No, if not.

 

% SearchLive%%

Yes is returned if you selected to search live mailboxes. No, if not.
